Happy Monday everyone! This week I'm sharing my favorite tracks from Capercaillie's album Crosswinds. I just happened to come across the LP of this album at Goodwill a little while ago. I had never listened to this band before, but after listening to this album I'm a big fan of their style of Scottish folk music. Give a listen to Puirt A Beul/ Snug in a Blanket, Soraidh Bhuam Gu Barraidh, Glen Orchy/ Rory MacLeod, Brenda Stubbert's Set, and My Laggan Love/ Fox on the Town:
Capercaillie is new to me as well. I like the songs you selected, especially Puirt A Beul.
ReplyDeleteThey're just so beautiful. Thanks for linking up!
DeleteI've heard of this band but never really listened to their music. I'm going to give these a go. Have you ever listened to Clannad
