A Darker Mischief by Derek Milman - Release date: July 2nd, 2024 - I am very ready for this YA dark academia thriller! I Was a Teenage Slasher by Stephen Graham Jones - Release date: July 16th, 2024 - Slashers usually aren't my thing, but I do really like this author's brand of horror. Mid-Year Book Freak Out 2024

Happy Saturday and welcome to the Mid-Year Book Freak Out of 2024 everyone!  I've been taking part in this since 2015 - if you like you can check out my previous posts from 2015 ,  2016 ,  2017 ,  2018 ,  2019 ,  2020 ,  2021 ,  2022 , and 2023 .  It's always great to see what everyone else has been reading and enjoying via this tag and I know I'll be adding a lot of books to my already out of control TBR.  By the way, this tag was originally created by  ReadLikeWildFire  and  Earl Grey Books .     Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday which is hosted by  That Artsy Reader Girl .  This week's topic is Books on My Summer 2024 TBR.  Without further ado, here we go in alphabetical order by title: The Boy in the Red Dress  by Kristin Lambert  - This YA historical mystery sounds absolutely fascinating.  I'm reading this as part of the  Read Harder  challenge. Conan Doyle for the Defense: The True Story of a Sensational British Murder, a Quest for Justice, and the World's Most Famous Detective Writer  by Margalit Fox  - This history book sounds absolutely fascinating.  This is one of my  Beat the Backslist  books. Drama  by Raina Telgemeier  - I've read other books from this author and I'm looking forward to seeing what all the hype is about here as well.  I'll be reading this for the  Read Harder  challenge. Magical Readathon: Orilium - Choose Your Own Adventure: Year In Aeldia 2024 - May Update

        Happy Wednesday everyone!
