Happy early Independence Day to my fellow American readers! In honor of the holiday, I thought I'd share my two favorite John Philip Sousa marches as performed by the United States Marine Band in 2009 - "The Stars and Stripes Forever" (1897) and "The Liberty Bell" (1893). "The Liberty Bell" is one of his most famous marches and it's used as the intro to Monty Python's Flying Circus. If you're interested you can even listen to a recording of the march from 1910 - 107 years ago!
