Happy Tuesday everyone! Welcome to the Top Ten Tuesday now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is Books On My Fall 2018 TBR and I'm focusing on new releases from this September through November. Here we go, in order by release date.
September:
Escaping from Houdini (Stalking Jack the Ripper #3) by Kerri Maniscalco - Release date: September 18, 2018 - This author has quickly become one of my favorites and I can't wait to see more from Audrey Rose and Thomas Cresswell.
For a Muse of Fire (For a Muse of Fire #1) by Heidi Heilig - Release date: September 25, 2018 - I loved Heilig's brand of fantasy in The Girl from Everywhere duology and I'm excited to see where she goes in this all new Asian cultures inspired fantasy series.
Vengeful (Vicious #2) by V.E.Schwab - Release date: September 25, 2018 - I don't think I can adequately express just how excited I am for this sequel!!
October:
The Hollow Fear (Lady Sherlock #3) by Sherry Thomas - Release date: October 2, 2018 - Currently this series is my new favorite take on the classic character and like with the first two installments I want to listen to this on audiobook.
The Lady's Guide to Petticoats and Piracy (Montague Siblings #2) by Mackenzi Lee - Release date: October 2, 2018 - Felicity was my favorite character from the first book in this series and I'm thrilled that she's the main character in this sequel.
Saga, Volume 9 by Brian K. Vaughan & Fiona Staples - Release date: October 2, 2018 - It's been way too long since I've had a new volume of my favorite graphic novel series in my hands!
Alice Isn't Dead by Joseph Fink - Release date: October 30, 2018 - I love this Night Vale Presents podcast and I can't wait to see the novelization of the story! I'm hoping to try the audiobook version since Jasika Nicole is narrating and she plays the lead character Keisha in the podcast.
November:
Empress of All Seasons by Emiko Jean - Release date: November 6, 2018 - I actually got approved for an ARC on NetGalley and I'm looking forward to diving into this YA fantasy that's inspired by Japanese folklore.
The Dark Days Deceit (Lady Helen #3) by Alison Goodman - Release date - November 20, 2018 - This historical fantasy series has quickly become one of my favorites and I'm not ready to say goodbye to Lady Helen and Lord Carlston, but I have a feeling this finale will knock it out of the park!
Are you planning on reading any of these new and upcoming releases? What books are on your Fall TBR? As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!
These all look so good! I really want Escaping Houdini.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read it! I hope we'll both like it.
DeleteOkay, I keep seeing Empress of All Seasons everywhere and it sounds amazing so I need to get my hands on a copy. Great list, I hope you enjoy all of these!
ReplyDeleteThanks! My fingers are crossed. :)
DeleteGreat TBR :)
ReplyDeleteI'm really excited to read Empress of All Seasons too.

It's going to be great! Thanks for coming over, Cora. :)
DeleteI'm so behind on saga. I recently just started Alice isnt Dead (the podcast) and I didn't know they were doing a novelization.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're enjoying Alice, Deanna. :)
DeleteYou're the second person I've seen talking about Saga this week. Now I'm only growing more curious to read it for myself. :)
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday.
Yay! It's so much fun - I'm hooked on it. :)
DeleteI have the first Lady Sherlock that I need to read. I also need to finally read Vicious so I can enjoy the sequel coming out. LOL I have Escaping from Houdini and Lady's Guide on my list too!

Ooh, I hope you like Lady Sherlock, Lauren!
DeleteI'm so ready for Escaping from Houdini! I read Hunting Prince Dracula earlier this month and know this series is just perfect for Fall! :D
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
It really is, isn't it!
DeleteVengeful is definitely at the top of my list, can't wait!
ReplyDeleteI'm dying for it! :)
DeleteI hope we'll love it!
I'm also looking forward to The Lady's Guide to Petticoats and Piracy! Felicity was also my favorite character, and I'm sure that the book is going to be a ton of fun! Though if I'm being honest, I haven't read the synopsis yet! I hope you will have a wonderful time reading all of these books. :)
ReplyDeleteGenni @ Ready, Set, Read!
Fingers crossed it will be as great as it sounds. :)
DeleteI hadn't heard of For a Muse of Fire before but it sounds interesting! I'm also excited for the releases of Vengeful and The Lady's Guide to Petticoats and Piracy.
ReplyDeleteI loved Heilig's first two novels and I can't wait to see what she does with her next book! :)
DeleteI want to read THE LADIES GUIDE, too. I loved the first book in the series so much. I read these lists and I start to panic. There are so many books out there that I haven't even heard of and now I want to look into them. But my TBR is already over 100 books long. If I just read them it would take me over a year to finish the list without adding new titles (which I do all the time.) Eek! My Fall TBR list
ReplyDeleteOnly 100... if only mine had that few books!
DeleteWe've waiting so long for the third Lady Helen. I hope it ends up giving us a happy ending. That last book hurt so much.
ReplyDeleteI know - I really hope so...
DeleteI'm looking forward to reading For A Muse of Fire and Vengeful as well.

DeleteIf I had a dollar for every list that had Vengeful today....
ReplyDeleteI hope you love them all.
We'd have a lot of money that's for sure! :D
DeleteI’m so excited for Vengeful and Lady’s Guide. I preordered Lady’s Guide. I still need to order Vengeful. I hope you enjoy all these!
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
Fingers crossed!
DeleteI'm super excited for Vengeful and the next installment of Saga too! Vicious is one of my favorite books ever - I may need to reread it before Vengeful...I also need to read Vols. 7 and 8 of Saga and get caught up in time for 9! Happy Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteI hope you like catching up on Saga! :)
DeleteHmmm. Saga. Maybe I should catch up... and The Hollow of Fear. I LOVE the covers on those books, they look fabulous.
ReplyDeleteThe Lady Sherlock series is marvelous - I have a feeling you'd enjoy it, Greg. :)
DeleteI'm so excited for Vengeful, too- only a week away! I can't believe the Lady Helen books are coming to an end; I have some serious catching up to do because I still have to read The Dark Days Pact!
ReplyDeleteAt least you'll won't have long to wait after reading book 2! :)
DeleteEmpress of All Seasons looks AMAZING!! I had never heard of it before but if it involves Japanese folklore, I am DOWN 😍
ReplyDeleteOh yeah!
DeleteKerri's books LOOK and sound SO atmospheric. Like they'd be ideal autumn reads. I also read Jessica's first book, so someday I should make it a point to read books 2 and 3. :D
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the Finding Wonderland visit, Lauren.
Totally!
DeleteThanks for coming over, Rissi. :)
