SciFi Month 2024: Week 5 Update

ScFi Month 2024 - Intergalactic Book Tag

SciFi Month 2024 - The Friday 56 (With Book Beginnings): Conquistador by S M. Stirling

              On Friday's I take part in two weekly link ups - The Friday 56, hosted by  Anne @ My Head Is Full of Books , and Book Beginnings, hosted by  Rose City Reader .  For The Friday 56, you choose a book, a book you have just finished, a book you are about to start, your current read, and share a line or a few lines that grab you (but don't spoil anything) from page 56 or 56% of the way through the ebook. Post it and share your post's url on Freda's most recent Friday 56 post. 2024 Popsugar Reading Challenge - Update #11

Happy Tuesday everyone! Today I'm sharing my eleventh and final  2024 Popsugar Reading Challenge  update with mini reviews!  I read 6 books this month for a total of 50 out of 50 books.  I'm pretty pleased with myself that I completed this challenge a whole month early!  Without further ado, keep reading to see my thoughts on the books I read in November: ❋   ❋  ❋  ❋ The Palace Job  ( Rouges of the Republic  #1) by Patrick Weekes  was a fun read and I'd like to continue the series in the future.  I will say though that I did have trouble focusing on my reading the day that I finished it.  I bet you can guess why: I finished this on November 6th, 2024.  At least, this novel did help me escape for a bit. Reindeer Readathon 2024 - Announcement & TBR

Happy Saturday everyone!  Today I'm sharing my TBR for the  Reindeer Readathon  which will run for the entire month of December.  It is hosted by  Erik @ Breakeven Books  with some help from  Noelle ,  Christine & Mo ,  Kristin ,  Hannah ,  Vanessa  and Steffany .  I'm on Team Mistletoe this year which is hosted by Erik.  I've been participating in this readathon since 2021, and I'd say I've got a great tbr put together for this round.  Without further ado, let's get to my tbr:  DASHER - 10 PTS - Read a book that is recommended to you on social media or is a list recommendation (YouTube, Goodreads, Google, etc.). My choice: Thief of the Heights by Son M. - I've read a lot of recommendations for this YA fantasy graphic novel and I can't wait to try it. DANCER - 15 PTS - Read a book genre that you feel matches your favorite music genre (i.e. Pop-Fantasy, Rock/ Metal-Thriller/ Horror, R&B-Romance, etc....
