Sci-Fi Month 2024: Books From The Backlog - The Doctor and the Kid (Weird West Tales #2) by Mike Resnick
Happy Thursday everyone and welcome back to Books from the Backlog, the weekly linkup I'm taking part of which is hosted by Carole's Random Life in Books. Plus, this month I'll be featuring science fiction in honor of SciFi Month 2024 (Image credit: Artwork by Sxwx). Anyway, this is a great way to put a spotlight on books that I've had sitting on my shelf for awhile. I don't know when I'll get to my weekly featured book, but I hope to some time hopefully soon.

Summary Per Goodreads:
Welcome to a West like you've never seen before! With the O. K. Corral and the battle with the thing that used to be Johnny Ringo behind him, the consumptive Doc Holliday makes his way to Deadwood, Colorado. But when a gambling loss drains his bankroll, Doc aims for quick cash as a bounty hunter. The biggest reward? Young, 20-year-old desperado known as Billy the Kid. With a steampunk twist on these classic characters, nothing can be as simple as it seems. Why Did I Add It?
I had a great time with book three in this series and I jumped at the chance to get this in one of the Friends of the Library Book Warehouse $5 bag sale!

This sounds like a fun series! And I love the old west/steampunk angle😁
