SciFi Month 2024 - Sunday Funday: Week 1 Update

Happy Sunday everyone and welcome to my first weekly update for SciFi Month 2024!  Sci-Fi Month is a month long celebration of all things sci-fi and it's hosted by Lisa @ Dear Geek Place, Imyril @ There's Always Room For One More, Annemieke @ A Dance With Books, and Mayri @ Book Forager (Image credit: Artwork by Sxwx).  So far, my SciFi Month has gotten off to a good start considering that only Friday was the first of the month.  I've already made progress on my tbr and I've started in on my watchlist as well.  Keep reading to see what I got up to since this monthly event began:

My SciFi Month Posts This Week:

What I Watched This Week:

 ❋

I finally watched the first episode of The MandalorianSeason 1 (2019) and I'm glad I finally did.  I shouldn't have put this off for so long.  I really like how the episode looks and it's quite a compelling start to the series.  I really became hooked at the introduction of the IG-11 bounty hunter droid, especially with how it moved.  Plus, I noticed in the credits that the character was voiced by Taika Waititi so that's pretty cool.  Definitely can't wait to see what's next.

What I Read This Week:

 ❋  ❋
Artificial Condition (The Murderbot Diaries #2) by Martha Wells is an excellent sequel to All Systems Red. I really enjoyed book one, but I adored this one.  It's absolutely awesome and the audiobook production is outstanding.  Now, I'm really starting to get why this is so loved.  I can't wait to see what's next in this series!

My review is also on Goodreads.

Are you taking part in SciFi Month 2024?  Have you read or watched either of these?  As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!
