Music Monday: My Chemical Romance

Happy Monday everyone and welcome back to Music Monday! Let's share some songs we've been enjoying lately!  If you would like to play and I really hope you do, please see the rules and link up below.

Every Monday share one or two of songs you've been enjoying lately.  It doesn't have to be a specific genre, new, or one of your favorites - just something you'd like to share with others.  If possible, share a music or lyric video of the song and your thoughts on the song(s), artist(s), and/or music video(s).

If you would like to participate in Music Monday, please join the link up at the bottom of this post by sharing your post's url.

This week I'm sharing three of my favorite My Chemical Romance songs.  I listened to this group a fair bit while I was back in high school.  These three are the ones that have stuck with me since then.

"Welcome to the Black Parade" (2006) - This is the one I still probably listen to the most now.

"Helena" (2004) - So much emotion...

"The Ghost of You" (2004) - Easily my favorite of their music videos and I still get misty eyed when I watch it.

  1. Girl, you are bringing back the memories! I used to love My Chemical Romance in Middle/High School. I think I only liked the first album though, I kind of fell off the bandwagon by the time their second album was released...

    1. I really only listened to the first two back then, but I liked what I heard of them. Thanks for linking up! :)

  2. Oh my gosh, I was OBSESSED with MCR when I was in middle school/high school. I still listen to some of their songs from time to time. (Their music is always good to sing along to at the top of your lungs when you're feeling angsty, lol.) "Famous Last Words" was always my favorite, but the ones you posted are great as well. :D

    1. Exactly! :) How could I forget Famous Last Words? Should have added it! Thanks for linking up!

  3. I used to love MCR sooo much! The Black Parade is a good album, I think I slightly ruined it for myself by overlistening / I will always associate them with my 13 y/o sean self, but it has some class tracks on it. I do love Welcome. Cancer was my fave for a long time, and also I Don't Love You and This Is How I Disappear and just, like, all of them??
