Happy Tuesday everyone! For today's Top Ten Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, in honor of Sci-Fi Month which is hosted by Lisa @ Dear Geek Place and Imyril @ One More (Image credit: Artwork by Yosua Bungaran Cahya Putra), my list is going to take advantage of the Sci-Fi Month Challenge. Today's prompt of Popular Choice lines up perfectly with the TTT prompt of Mainstream Popular Authors that I Still Have Not Read with a special focus sci-fi authors. Without further ado, here are some sci-fi authors I absolutely need to try some day:
Have you read any of these books? Are you taking part in Sci-Fi Month? As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!
You have some all-time greats on your list!
ReplyDeleteAND, what is Sci-Fi Month????
I don't know why I've been putting them off. ;)
DeleteSci-Fi Month runs all of November and it's a celebration of the science fiction genre. It's a lot of fun!
Only one I don't recognise there, and I'm honestly surprised that there's any -- I thought I was pretty well-read in SF/F! To Google I go, hehe.
ReplyDeleteI'm not doing Sci-Fi Month this year... I'm having trouble reading at all and didn't want to pressure myself in any way whatsoever, you know?
Here's my TTT.
I totally get that. :)
DeleteI hope you get to try these soon.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed!
DeleteI don't read much sci-fi. I need to rectify that at some point 😂
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!

Oh yes! :)
DeleteI haven't read VanderMeer either. But I've been busy adding, then removing, his books from my TBR. Ha! Authors I've never read
ReplyDeleteI know that feeling! Thanks for visiting, Anne.
DeleteI'm a big fan of day of the Triffids so Wyndham would be an author I'd like to try also. I did like the Charbonneau one I read...
ReplyDeleteI have to keep that in mind.
DeleteI don't read a huge amount of sci-fi to be honest, more of a fantasy reader!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT: https://jjbookblog.wordpress.com/2023/11/14/top-ten-tuesday-446/
I enjoy both - thanks for linking up! :)
DeleteI read very little SFF, so it's not surprising that I haven't read most of these authors. I have read a number of Wells' books, though, and enjoyed them overall. I hope you enjoy these authors when you get to them.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
Good to know! Thanks for coming over, Susan.
DeleteJeff VanderMeer is so unique. Sometimes I love his books and other times I have no idea what's going on, lol.
ReplyDeleteHmm! I can't wait to see what I think of him.
DeleteGreat list! I have only read Clarke. Reynolds for sure I want to try too
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI need to try all of these too!
ReplyDeleteI hope we'll both enjoy them!
DeleteI've only read Vonnegut from you list but it's been many many years. I hope you enjoy any of these you get to.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI've read McCaffrey and Wyndham from this list. I'm actually reading a Wyndham book right now: The Chrysalids. It is amazingly good! I would highly recommend it. But I'll be posting a review on it next week, as part of SciFiMonth, if you want to hear more about it before making a decision.
ReplyDeleteGreat, thanks Nic!
DeleteI own a novel by Joelle Charbonneau, but haven't ever read it. The one I have did sound really interesting at the time I picked it up, so I guess I should get back to giving it a chance. :) Thanks so much for visiting my website on this week.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy it if you try it.
