Music Monday: Pet Sematary

Happy Monday everyone and welcome back to Music Monday! Let's share some songs we've been enjoying lately!  If you would like to play and I really hope you do, please see the rules and link up below.

Rules:

Every Monday share a few songs you've been enjoying lately.  It doesn't have to be a specific genre, new, or one of your favorites - just something you'd like to share with others.  If possible, share a music or lyric video of the song and your thoughts on the song(s), artist(s), and/or music video(s).

If you would like to participate in Music Monday, please join the link up by sharing your post's url.

Each week of this month I've been sharing some favorite Halloween songs - and this is the first week.  This week I'm sharing the two covers of the song Pet Sematary featured in both the original film from 1989 and the new remake from 2019.  I enjoyed both movies, and I liked the surprises in the new adaptation more than I expected to.  The original version of the song is from The Ramones and the new cover is by Starcrawler (which really reminds me of Don't Fear the Reaper).  It was also featured on the Frankenweenie soundtrack as covered by the Plain White Ts.

    1. Both were pretty good movies - I was hoping the song the song would be covered somewhere in the new one. :)

  2. I haven't seen the movie (new or original) because I tend to avoid anything scary, haha. I don't even like to read scary books! ;)

I have been listening to The Beatles recently, and Eight Days a Week has been stuck in my head on repeat.
