Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award, Pt. 2

For the second time, I have been nominated for the Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award by Sabrina @ Sabrina's Stories.  Thanks very much, Sabrina!  Everyone should go check out her blog!

Now, since I've received this award before, answered the questions, and nominated bloggers in return, I believe I will simply answer the questions provided by Sabrina and nominate my blogs followers/ readers to answer the questions I have answered below.

The official rules for this blog award are as follows:

1.  Thank the blogger who nominated you, and link back to her blog
2.  Post the award's logo on your blog
3.  Answer the 10 questions you've been asked by the blogger who nominated you
4.  Nominate 10 bloggers for the award
5.  Ask 10 new questions for the bloggers you nominated

On to Sabrina's questions:

1.  Do/would you read on public transport?

Well, if I lived in an area with public transportation, I expect I probably would.

2.  Is there a food that a book has made you want to try?

I actually borrowed the Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook from my library and tried some things.  I really enjoyed the Pumpkin Pasties!

3.  What made you get into reading?

I've loved reading for as long as I can remember and some of that can be credited to my dad.  He used to read to me all of the time when I was little.

4.  Do you have any merchandise relating to books?

Aside from Harry Potter items, I do have a t-shirt referencing Dead Beat (The Dresden Files #7) by Jim Butcher. I love wearing it!

4b.  Do you want to share pictures of said merchandise?

Here's a picture of me wearing said t-shirt a couple years ago while Mark Twain told me a story.

The quote is: "The movie of my life must be really low-budget." -Harry Dresden in Dead Beat

5.  Is there a character you love to hate?

Dolores Umbridge

6.  Would you rather participate in The Hunger Games or be put under the Cruciatus curse for 5 minutes?

What kind of question is this? I don't think I can sanely answer this question...but I wouldn't want to be forced to kill people.

7.  If you had to be a fairytale character for a day, who would you be?

Belle - for that library!

8.  Do you like deckled edges on books?

Generally, I find it kind of annoying that I can't flip the pages nearly as easily.

9.  What are your thoughts on fanart?  Have you ever created any?

I do enjoy creative and well-done fanart, but I haven't really made any myself.  I'm not much better than a first grader with a marker.

10.  Would you rather live in the world of Harry Potter (and be a witch or wizard, of course), or live in Middle Earth?

This is such a difficult question, but living in the world of Harry Potter as a witch ranks just barely higher than  living in Middle-Earth.

  1. Haha! Your shirt made me smile! I definitely need it. Btw, your hair is so pretty! I've always wanted something brighter than my dark brown hair. :/

Thanks for the lovely blog award, too. :)

    1. Thanks! :)
When I wear it, you can tell who gets it and who doesn't. :D

You're welcome. You don't have to do it, but if you do let me know when you've posted it.

  2. Oooh I've heard about the Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook - hopefully I'll try some of the recipes out someday!
Sorry about the weird question - I don't think I could have answered it ahah.
I would probably have picked Belle for the library too.

    Thanks for answering my questions!

  3. I like T-shirt, I've not read the books but that is a great quote! Maybe I'll need to investigate The Dresden Files ....

I am with your all the way for your answers to 5 and 7. THAT LIBRARY! RE #6, I'd have to go with Cruciatus myself. Five minutes isn't long compared to days in the arena before your probably brutal death.

    1. They're pretty fantastic! :)

That does make sense regarding number 6 - I just hope I would still be sane after.
